HERE IS A SELECTION OF SOME OF THE MAGNIFICENT PAINTINGS OF COUNTRY SCENES CREATED BY LOUIS MONTILLET
The pictures we receive and for which we are very appreciative, are sometimes taken with excessive brightness or at an angle that can compromise the quality of the painting. We are not always able to get better shots. But since these paintings are all so beautiful, they are shown just the same. The purpose of this site is primarily to share the artist's work.
We take this opportunity to thank all those who have taken the time to send us a photo of their painting to share with everyone.
| From Claire, the daughter of the artist, "I had gone for the weekend to the Eastern Townships, a very beautiful place in Quebec. It was winter and the evening began to fall. I was at the cottage and I looked outside, admiring the scenery and the tranquility; I found it so beautiful! The dusk is one of my favorite times of the day ... So I took a picture hoping to seize the moment. When I printed the photo, I showed it to Dad; he found it very special, for he too loved the dusk and particularly the magnificence of Quebec's nature . I then asked him to make me a painting with this photo. Some time later, he returned with the painting. How wonderful! He had grasped the energy, the atmosphere, the time of day, the peace... everything ... looking at it, I was there, feeling it all over again. Click to order: |
